GROUP STRUCTURE
The APF group is an association of several interrelated companies. It consists of the parent company APF Holdings, subsidiary companies Alūksnes putnu ferma, APF Trading, Oluksne, Preiļu putni, and APF Energy. APF Holdings unites all companies belonging to the APF group, developing various strategic directions, APF brands, and new products.
Supervisory Board
It is essential to have a skilled and professional supervisory board to ensure good governance, efficient decision-making, and the company's long-term growth. APF's supervisory board members are experts in agriculture and finance, ensuring that every action meets the interests of shareholders and other company stakeholders.
Uldis Iltners Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Uldis Iltners is entrepreneur, co-founder of MADARA Cosmetics. Uldis Iltners has more than 20 years of successful experience in the beauty industry, managing one of the most modern production facilities in Northern Europe - AS "Madara Cosmetics".
Uldis Iltners is strategist and constantly directs business to systemic transformation as beauty industry develops very dynamically. Uldis Iltners openly shares his experience with other entrepreneurs, and we appreciate his professional involvement in APF development.
Additionally, he has participated in various business activities in other companies to expand his investment portfolio.
Uldis Iltners holds BA School of Business and Finance.
Miguel Jordao Member of the Supervisory Board
Miguel Jordao leads strategy & finance at Gardin, a UK based, VC backed startup, pioneering remote optical plant phenotyping with machine learning to optimise yield, nutrition and quality of food production. Miguel Jordao has wide experience in investment banking, financial services, having held diverse roles across this industry. Since 2017 Miguel Jordao is CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst Institute) charterholder.
Miguel Jordao desires developing two aspects - better food systems and empowering individuals through financial literacy. In 2020, he co-founded a financial literacy programme with fellow CFA charterholders that teaches young people on the benefits of saving, budgeting and investing.
Miguel Jordao holds London Business School MBA Degree, Cass Business School MSc in Finance, Nova School of Business and Economics Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management.
Aleksandrs Adamovičs Member of the Supervisory Board
Aleksandrs Adamovičs is a professor of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology of the Latvian University of Biosciences and Technologies (LBTU LPTF), also a leading researcher with a doctor degree in agriculture (Dr.agr.). In addition, Aleksandrs Adamovičs is a member of the Latvian Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, and for 10 years he has been the director of the Agrobiotechnology Institute of LBTU and for 19 years he directed the doctoral study program "Agriculture". Aleksandrs has accumulated a lot of professional experience in the field of agrobiotechnologies. Main areas of scientific activities: agronomy, meadow cultivation, crop cultivation, pedagogy, fodder production, animal nutrition, bioenergetics.
Management board
JURIJS ADAMOVIČS Founder and Chairman of the Management Board
Jurijs Adamovičs is an entrepreneur, investor, and internationally renowned bank restructuring and corporate turnaround professional with more than 20 years of experience.
Mr Adamovics assures, that poultry industry has a strong potential, as the consumption of egg and poultry protein in the world continues to grow faster than any other type of protein of animal origin, and the advantages of the Latvian poultry industry must be used to develop this market potential
Currently, Mr Adamovics holds Chairman positions of the Management and Supervisory Boards of several his portfolio companies, including non-executive chairmanship in Industra Bank AS. Mr Adamovics received Masters in Finance degree from prestigious London Business School and holds an Executive MBA and Bachelor`s degree in international Economic Relations from University of Latvia, where he also has completed a theoretical programme for PHD in Economics.
HERMANIS DOVGIJS Member of the Management Board, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Hermanis oversees operations of all Group subsidiaries. He has very extensive experience in company restructuring and systemic transformation processes and he is convinced that integration of sustainable solutions in production processes are one of the cornerstones of successful growth. In his opinion, the investment in the local community and environmental protection is at least as important as the investment in the expansion and modernization of the production plant. Before joining the APF team, Hermanis had a successful career in banking and asset management in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and the CIS countries. He has obtained a master's degree in business administration at Daugavpils University.
MIHAILS KEZIKS Member of the Management Board, Chief Financial Officer
Mihails is an experienced manager in finance industry. Before joining the APF team, Mihails worked as a project director and portfolio manager in large financial institutions. From an economic perspective, Mihails sees the financial attractiveness of agriculture and poultry farming – eggs will be in demand as long as people eat them. However, additional value is growth opportunities given by this industry that occurs alongside the company's development by implementing continuous improvements in hen welfare solutions, introducing more elements of the circular economy, and thus allowing to discover more ways for efficient use of waste materials. Mihails holds a master's degree in finance and banking from SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
