Joint-stock company APF Holdings (hereinafter – APF), a group of companies that includes one of the largest poultry and egg production companies in Latvia, SIA Alūksnes Putnu Ferma, and poultry and rearing company SIA Preiļu Putni, has before its initial public offering (IPO), scheduled for this coming fall, appointed a new supervisory board. Uldis Iltners is the new chairman of the supervisory board and Eva Berlaus is his deputy. The other supervisory board members are Miguel Jordao and Aleksandrs Adamovičs.
“A new supervisory board made up of professionals will provide the company with efficient management and the necessary expertise in both strategy development and implementation, legal and corporate finance issues, as well as research, which is very important to us. Our goal is to build APF into one of the leading poultry and food production companies in the entire region, which will create value not only for the shareholders, including those who will join us during the IPO, but also for the whole society and national economy. The new supervisory board is an important step toward achieving this goal,” says Jurijs Adamovičs, the largest APF shareholder.

Uldis Iltners is a co-founder of AS Madara Cosmetics. He has more than 20 years of successful experience in creating a new, internationally recognized cosmetics brand and managing one of the most modern production facilities in Northern Europe. His experience in strategic management will be a dynamic driving force behind APF’s development story.
Eva Berlaus is a sworn lawyer and country managing partner of Latvia office at Sorainen law firm, who also manages leads the firm’s merger and acquisition practice group in Latvia. Eva’s extensive legal experience will greatly help APF in strengthening supervision of corporate legal matters.
In turn, Miguel Jordao has extensive experience in investment banking and financial services. Since 2017, he has been a partner of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst Institute). Miguel has already been involved in the development of APF’s strategy and his dynamic approach will further contribute to APF’s growth. Aleksandrs Adamovičs is a professor and leading researcher at the Faculty of Agriculture of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies. He has strong professional experience in the agro-biotech industry, which is very valuable in the development of APF’s technological processes.
As reported, APF plans to go public on the stock exchange this coming fall through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of its shares. The company’s shares are to be listed on Nasdaq Riga’s alternative market First North.
